@SolidBigBoss89 I have 1 Dual Core Intel 2.8 With 12Gb ram and a Core i7 with 12 Gb. Made for Architectural Visualisation Rendering. Not much Arch viz going round these days so I am Diversing into modelling. It was crashing because of a bug in Studio max. The only way I could fix it was simplify and use Max 2009.

I have a 12Gb iCore7 and it crashes when I create the instances and bend modifier. Cant figure out why, it even does it when I create a plane with 12 faces. Max 2010 x64.

@DHFrame Have you tried to install service packs and hot fixes for max? They are all free to download from official autodesk page. And I have personally skipped max 2010. I do most of my work in 2009 version, and some in 2011, but I plan to update 2011 to 2012, because of slow viewport on 2011
