Just as a side note, Harry Rowe Shelley was Virgil's predecessor before Harold Vincent Milligan and Frederick Kinsley at Riverside before it moved to Riverside Drive and 121st St., at that time it was on Park Avenue. And also, the organ Alexandre Guilmant played at the 1904 World's Fair was the nucleus of what became...the Wanamaker organ in Philadelphia, Center City.
Thanks for posting this. He played this piece MUCH BETTER either on the Riverside Church Organ (All Pipes of course) - or - one time he played this piece at a concert using the Rogers you see here. But, in the 'concert' mode, he had Hundreds of speakers surrounding him and was able to 'deliver' this Majestic composition as it was always delievered by Virgil Fox.
I thought it sounded digital! I just noticed the brand name on the organ, Rodgers.
Very nicely done, all of it. Thanks for sharing!
