i'm not from the U.S.,I from Greece, but is it illegal to be a communist in the U.S.A today ,why the broadcasters are acting like that ? The communist party here was considered not legal until 1918 when it was founded until 1975.. during that time if u were cough u were facing execution or prison to isolated island..

@TheRiverman85 It is not illegal to be a communist in the U.S. but it is not a party that you want to belong to if you want to get elected into high office. Communism does go against many of the principle that the U.S. was founded on.

Many think that Obama is a communist. I do not happen to believe that he is, but his philosophy is closer to communism than many American are comfortable with.
