@HelloThisIsCrystal I think he was embarrassed and simply removed it. Basically, he wrote a long letter about how we were butchering the art of calligraphy, but did so with probably the worst grammar I've seen since I taught freshman composition.

Parenthetical statements have two parenthesis, not just one. Also, the first letter of a sentence should be capitalized as well as proper nouns (such as Philistine) when writing in English; however, since English may not be your first language, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.
