Pentagon 9/11 Memorial, Virtual Tour 2008

Visiting the Pentagon Memorial for those killed on 9/11. This is a very simple, yet moving memorial. A lot of thought was put into this design. The benches that point toward the Pentagon represent those killed on the plane. The benches pointing away from the Pentagon represent those killed inside the building. Each bench has the name of one victim. The dates (1960, etc) engraved along the edges (on the sitting wall) are aligned with the benches and represent the birth date of that particular row (victims) of benches. The youngest victim was born in 1998 (3 years old). Everyone should remember the precious lives lost at the hands of cowards. This video was shot on a beautiful SUNDAY afternoon in October, 30 days after the opening of the memorial in 2008.
