Thanks, I really enjoyed that. I've been watching the show and it's the most enjoyable programme on the TV by a long way. It's one of those shows that makes the licence fee worthwhile.

This video is awesome. You made a perfect job and the song is just the best to fit with it. I study History of the Art (19th century) so I was curious about this show. I discovered it some days ago and I just watched all the episodes in a row. Some détails aren't accurate with the historical facts but it's still a really good show.
Great job! I love it :-)

For someone who loves Pre-Raphaelite art as much as I do, these clips are a feast for the eye if nothing else! Can anyone tell me if DESPERATE ROMANTICS going to be shown in the US?

You know, when I first watched this, I couldn't stop laughing; something about a period piece set to 80s synth seems like it shouldn't work, somehow. BUT YOU TOTALLY PULLED IT OFF. I mean, your editing is great, and it fits, even though it still seems brilliantly weird. Excellent choice and very well done!

"Post romantic painters meets desesperate houysewives".... (ps: I know enough about the history of the brotherhood)

Google Thomas Combe & Martha Combe,Holman Hunt spent time living with them in Oxford, Thomas Combe was a patron for Millais and Holman Hunt, the Light of the World was owned by the Combe's, great pity this story does not stick to historial facts.

Why can't the BBC get the props right for the period, bad wigs, language not right for the mid 19th century.Candles were the most expensive lighting, the artists are not well off at the start, look how many candles there are, this is a modern idea to have loads of candles in films, they think it gives an ambiance.
This started tonight on ABC Australia....in high Definition. I don't know how many episodes there are, but I love it. Robbie.

Love this show, but am I the only one who thinks Fred is adorable and handsome? He deserves to be with someone!
