In this clip, Notre Dame's Johnny Lujack tackles 1945 Heisman Trophy winner Felix "Doc" Blanchard. Probably not the most impressive physical display, but the tackle prevented a touchdown, and save a fourth-straight unbeaten season for the Irish and a national title.

  • RIP DOC Blanchard

  • Do you have the entire game? I'd definitely trade for/purchase a copy!

  • My father loved Army football.

    So do I.

My dad died last year, and I miss him so much.

He often talked about Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis.

    The best backs ever.

    Go Army!

    George V. Hill (1931-2007)

    Love you!

    Your son,

    George.
