Bring home the magic of "Alice in Wonderland" available June 1 in the US on Blu-ray, DVD and Movie Download
In celebration of the upcoming Blu-ray and DVD release of Alice in Wonderland on June 1st, Disney and FIDM partnered together to celebrate the great whimsical characters and fashion inspirations behind this blockbuster-hit.
Each student was given just 18 days to design an Alice in Wonderland inspired red carpet gown that is based on a single character in the movie the Mad Hatter, Alice, the Cheshire Cat, the White Rabbit, the Red Queen and the Tweedles.
Beginning on Thursday, May 27th, the students red carpet Alice gowns will be on display at the FIDM Museum & Galleries, which will be open for the public to see for free, through September 30th. The gowns will be on display as part of Disneys Alice In Wonderland Exhibition featuring original costumes from the film by Colleen Atwood and The Edgier Side of Alice inspired clothing and products, currently available at retail, from DCP, designed by a variety of celebrities, designers and fashion icons (e.g. Sue Wong, Tom Binns, Avril Lavigne, etc.).

Shouldn't they have done the "White Queen" also? Since this is technically the second movie where Alice comes back to Wonderland. She is introduced to the White Queen which is another popular character in Wonderland and from the original book itself.
