@drumline249 I just got my second sonata today, 09 V6 and no noise, beat 07 accord ex and 10 camry le, the best part is i get it for $9600, and it got only 55k miles. pretty sweet deal. love it love it, well the mpg not pretty but it is very heavy and safe car. if i go far i drive my v6, if i drive in city i will use my 07 sonata. Camry and accord can't beat da price.
@drumline249 I've not noticed it being very loud at all. My daily driver is a 2001 Honda Odyssey minivan and at all speeds the overall decible level of this Hyundai is less than that of my Odyssey minivan. I can't attest to the engine noise vs. my minivan if I was doing foot to the floor acceleration. It *possibly* could be different in that case. But when you're just cruising, the Sonata is VERY quiet. Keep in mind this is a V6. I'm sure the 4 cylinder would be noisier.
Is it true that the engine noise of the 09 Hyundai Sonata is really loud? I heard that from the interior of the car it is really loud. Is it just when going certain speeds or on rough terrain?
You should change the stock Michelin tires. They are awefull in bad weather. The best tires you could get for that sonata would be Goodyear Eagle GT dual tread all weather performance tires. These tires not only look better, but they are superb on snow, ice and in the rain.
Yes, I ment to say inline 4! Is there any way that you could give us a demo of the manual shift capabilities? Somehow set the camera up, so you don't have to hold it, when driving? Thanks!
I really like the new Sonata's! My sister has an 03, it is a nice car, but this remodel is much nicer. I sat in one at the auto show (4 cylinder GLS in Willow Gray witht he Popular package - a lot of the same features as the GLS V6, only a V4!)

Only thing good about the Michelins, they are quiet and have a nice ride. CONS, poor handlers, poor traction wet/dry.

hi nice car, does the radio say the name of the song on certain stations? (I know it can for XM/Ipod, but I was wondering for FM?)
Interested in this car, but just wondering about this feature, thanks
