Guiding Light: The Character Profiler-Dinah Marler

This is the fourth Installment of the Character Profiler. This month is Dinah Marler. You will quickly notice that it starts with Dinah in 1994. It was extremely difficult to get this character in a 10 minutes time frame. When Dinah was on our screens there was never a dull moment. Dinah was one of my favorite characters so this was very fun to make. Both actresses really left a mark on the show and on the character. Enjoy the journey of Dinah Marler.

Lizzie could be a possibility. I have most of the years she was around.

I'm not sure on the exact date that Dinah was dancing on Alan's desk. I didn't keep track of the air dates, unfortunately. It was soon after she gained control of the Spaulding Mansion which is also around the time Gus died so I would say May/June 2008.

Didn't Dinah deliver Cassie's son in the backseat of a car? I loved Wendi Moniz as Dinah. I liked Gina Tongioni. As I said I loved the way Wendi portrayed Dinah, and when Gina came on. I liked her but not as much as Wendi.I wonder what happened to that sweet little boy that played Peter Jessup?

This is so tough one on which Dinah....one of these magical soap recasts when both actress hit the mark every time. I will be honest when I first heard they were bring back Dinah I was leery about Gina. I was a Dinah fan because of Wendy. Wendy is probably slightly deeper in my heart. She was SOOOOOOOO amazing and we already had 2 other Dinahs which didn't really do anything which for the character ....until I watched the original "Hurricane Dinah" portrayed by Wendy. loving, strong, fiery!

Dinah is a hell of a troublemaker... in other words, she really kicks ass :) and can be tremendously funny, but also a deeply dramatic character, always liked her.
