@FLAME4564 because he didnt officaly take command untill after he rescued pike besides he didnt have time to change, command wise he was captain after spock resigned but officaly he didnt become captain untill they got back to earth and command was officaly given to kirk from pike

anyone that hates this film i say kiss my ass XD no offence lol :D simon pegg to me will make a great edittion to the cast :D but theres only one thing lol why do they make kirk wear black instead of wearing the yellow uniform with the TOS badge on it?
