Superstars (December 9, 1995) (Part 5)

WWF Superstars ran from 1986-1997 and continued in 2009-Current. Superstars was the Raw in the late 80s and 90s and when Monday Night Raw started in 1993, turned into the Smackdown of the 90s. What that means is that Superstars was not a give away show like Sunday Night Heat, Metal or Velocity. It boosted storylines and had its main stars developed their characters and lead the WWF into great Pay-Per-Views like what Raw and Smackdown do today.

Wow. I was devastated (lol) when he collapsed. I remember not being able to sleep and thinking of him constantly. I forget when and how I learned this was all a work, but when I did, my heart broke--AGAIN!!--because I felt it was just cruel and HOW COULD HE DO THIS TO ME?!?!? lol

Even now, I still feel a little anger at the fact that they went "all in" with this work.
