The Madrid fault has the worst quakes they are very infrequent. California faults are more active.
I didn't know the Madrid extended out to Oklahoma.

@manhater187 I used to live in Pismo Beach, what a great place to live. Lived right off hwy 1 and just minutes from the pier, used to go to sleep at night hearing the waves crashing. I sure miss that place.

@19Truth53 If you had read the description, you would have seen that it was the second earthquake that day. The news report is about the first one that happened earlier.

well, here in oklahoma, that is pretty bad. that was only a minor aftershock,but in my house it was shaking for about 5 minutes and everything was moving or shaking

im in tulsa,this EQ woke me up / like a thief in the night / and scared the heck outta me,but seeing it recorded i have to just laff at all of us, for freaking out over such a lil wiggle LOL BUT i kept thinking its NOT STOPPING, could-a bust the earth open over it all God forbid

@manhater187 Oh hunny if you think California is bad try sitting through a 5.6 on a Sturdy built house designed for Tornados. Trust me what is a minor quake will tear your house down here. Before you think arrogantly like "Oh we're better have better houses lulz" the two extremes require completely different designs. a Tornado house is built like a fucking bomb bunker, and a Earthquake house is designed to give and sway with the ground. So now I'm building mine for both. Try me now lmfao
