  • boy do the repubs just recycle the same talking points year to --smaller gov--the private sector---and why do they get such dumb vice presd dan qualye really--he's female sara palin--~god~of~debauchery~

  • Oh, and two more observations:

    - Al Gore lied about position on the Caribbean Basin Initiative; he voted for it

    - Doesn't Bush plan sound a heck of a lot like Obamacare?

  • Stockdale won by losing. He really spoke on behalf of the independent voters and exerted this natural, unpretentious prose. Bless that war hero!

  • Stockdale won hands down he just stuttered a lot and was nervous. He wasn't as smart as the other two candidates but he had heart and integrity and acted in the interest of the people. The fact was Ross Perrot should have won and him and Stockdale were the only two people running who weren't tricky sly politicians

  • I don't think Stockdale did as badly as it is made out. Despite his weaknesses as a speaker, he makes several trenchant points that nobody else does, and shows himself to be the most thoughtful person on the stage.

  • @sean2015 Actually, Gore is a Vietnam veteran. Bush is a chickenhawk. Under Bush we lost 750,000 jobs a month. When Bush got into office, the CBO had said by the end of the decade, the national debt would be paid off, and the U.S. would have 1,8 trillion dollar surplus. And all the money that was meant to pay off the debt went to tax cut for the rich. 2 wars. earmarks. Medicare part D. Bush didnt create a single job. Clinton created 23 million, and 3 budget surpluses.

  • @sean2015 1st of all: Al Gore is a real Vietnam war veteran. 2nd. ehm... recession? skyrocketed unemployment and gas prices? thats what we know happened, when we had 8 years of Bush. Peace and prosperity? Yeah we gave us that, with the exception if the Iraq war. and the war in Afghanistan. Bush wasted the 6 trillion dollar surplus within his first 3 years on tax cuts for the rich. 2 wars. Medicare Part D. Giveaways to cooperation. And under Bush we lost 750,000 jobs a month!

  • @Kimmis1990 Oh stop it you libtard. George W. Bush was the real 43rd president. If Gore the draft-dodger had been elected, the economy would've sank into a recession, unemployment and gas prices would've skyrocketed, jobs would've dried up, America's image in the world would've been ruined. Thank God that George W. Bush was elected and restored honor and dignity to the White House, and also gave us 8 years of peace and prosperity.

  • What Qualye did in the begining of this debate is no different then what most Republicans say and do even today. More fear as usual!

  • 41:16 Al gore is like "YOU SON OF A BITCH"
