a month after the earthquake 3.11 in japan
somehow a screen is small... sorry.

additional note:
- to save electricity, JR and other lines (except subways) turn off lights and air conditioner of their trains.
- even though people worry about nuclear radiation, they still go out for work/ school. they no longer drink water, however. at many vending machines, water is always sold out. it is weird to see this word "sold out" at vending machines in tokyo.
- some people got sick after experiencing aftershocks. in 4.12 afternoon, yahoo earthquake reminder announced 1000th aftershocks after 3.11. my mom had to see a doctor to get some medicine not to feel sick like seasickness. many young people got used to earthquakes as big as magnitude 3 or 4. when they receive emergency announcement from either their tv or their cellphones, they dont get into a panic.
- many people began donations and volunteer works. including famous people. when johnnys worked for donations, millions of girls went to see&donate. my friend worked for it with her friends at shizuoka prefecture and got lots of donations. not only at streets, but you can find donation box everywhere in tokyo now. at convenient stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, schools...everywhere. many stores began "charity goods", which they give 10~50% of their profits for donations.
- since number of foreign visitors decreased rapidly, many sightseeing spots have lots of less people compared to last year. my friend whos from hokkaido, the northernmost prefecture in japan, told me that both foreign and japanese visitors decreased. stores from foreign countries slowly began working. H&M opened 2 weeks ago.
- disney land opened in 4.15 but it opens from 9:00-18:00. they have not announced when disney sea will open.
- my university will start in may 3rd. all holidays will become schooldays, and saturdays will be make-up days so it do not have to cut summer breaks to be shorter. most universities began this week or will start next week.
