UPDATE (Oct. 28th): It took longer than I expected, but the game is finally out! Check out the website for more details - http://akril15.com/games/atij/atij.html

My first Adventure Game Studio game is almost complete! And here's a trailer for it. Hopefully, this game will be released before the end of this month.

(Yes, I used music from Area 50.5 for this trailer. At least it's original, right?)

  • This is amazing! I love playing classic adventure games, and I'm so glad that there are still some people who remember games that aren't either shooting or racing...can't wait to play it!

  • @Jennedra: Thank you!

  • woah u made some of that!

    freakin hell it amazes me

  • Thank you!

  • This looks pretty dang nifty, I love it when decade long projects come to a climax and the author can finally release their brain child from incubation to meet people. You're usually a 1 woman team, it's the same for this game I take it?

And it looks like she visits some classic game universes like kq4 and LsL7, nice way to cut back on background creation in a pinch, though your stuff looks fantastic. And the animation is very smooth.

I will most certainly give it a whirl!

  • Thank you!

Yes, the only part of this game I didn't create myself (well, except for the obvious graphic/music rips) is the original music. The reason I used ripped graphics and music is somewhat different than the usual reasons, as you'll find out when you play the game (which hopefully will be fairly soon).

  • @Jennedra Agreed. You know there are a great deal of game makers still making adventures games of this nature. I only mess with the freeware makers but there are over 21,000+ studios still pumping out Adventure games of this nature across the globe.

  • Awesome! Can't wait to play this!

  • Cool! I nice new adventure FTW!

  • Looks nice. Hopefully I'll have time to try it out and Area 50.5
