  • What ever happened to the good old days?

  • It's a shame they don't do these shows anymore, this was reality at its best.

  • Sweet Post! Chet knows that he's the king. the others soup is very thin.

  • It's a shame nobody ever credits Paul Yandell (Chet's rhythm player, the guy in the back there). He can play just about as well as Chet could.

  • Hmmm, Back to the fuckin drawing board.

  • @bfree1954 Thank you! I'm very grateful!

  • @nagurman Pick up his album Markology, he only plays guitar on it. He was only 16 at the time, I think it was like 1979. The whole album is fantastic but my fave is Fluid Drive an 8 minute tour de force where he is accompanied by Tony Rice and Dan Crary. Simply phenominal, oh and this song is on it too :-)

  • does anybody know if there are more recordings of mark OConnor on guitar? he's absolutely phenomenal......

  • @richardsmithmusic Mark O'Connor's first "Nashville" session recording was done in 1983 when he recorded a single for Michael Martin Murphey. Previous to that, he had recorded outside of "Nashville" for many artists. His last session recording was in the 90's, which I currently don't have the exact date but can get. In any event, the point is - his session career in Nashville lasted much longer than 6 or 7 years.

  • @capitalismforme Yeah my bad... well, Mark's in NY now. Still touring everywhere. He only did session for 6 or 7 years or so..not a long session career, but certainly made his mark. One of my favourite musicians for sure. Chet was always totally the man!!

  • I have watched this video so so many times and it NEVER GETS OLD.Mark is purely amazing here on the guitar.Ive commented here a few times also. This video needs some marketing and ads on it and renaming to get more attention to it.This should have a million views by now.It is great.
