  • Wayne is sincere and forthright, kind, but I think his voice is too high for this song.

  • @JohnGLewis1964 I would obviously disagree with you being WayneNoFan, so I am curious if you think the 1989 version of this song that I have warrants the same comment?

  • i was never a wayne newton fan, could never understand why he is so popular in vegas, but i must confess that this performance is awesome!now i understand.

  • @WayneNo1Fan Thanks for responding... [I am new to Y.T...] I will have to withdraw my former comment, actually. This was a very classy performance, the type of which is (usually) only done after years in show business. WN1: You know... maybe his voice is somewhat high for this song, but considering eveything in total: a very winning, even profound, rendition of "MacArthur's Park". I think I'll have a little single malt whisky...; and I'll try to catch the 1989. Thank you. - JGL

  • The best version of this song, in my opinion, is by Jerry Vale. He has such a powerful voice and the song's ending is unbelievable. No falsetto here, just an unbelievable tenor voice. Unfortunately, there is no video, but the song can be purchased on Amazon or heard here on YouTube.

  • Excellant,really enjoyed....

  • There are very few stars left out there. He is one.

  • He was Mr. Vegas because of his enormous talent. He plays at least ten different instuments in his show along with a fantastic voice. He also stays on stage for over two hours and gives everything he has.

  • It's definitely got a William Shatner vibe to it...

  • Beautiful rendition!
