I would have taken this deer in as a pet.

aww he just wants a hug

The deer was a yearling buck, also known as a button buck. His mother was probably hit by a car or something. Hopefully he made it to maturity. Loved how he was playin on the pool cover.

This actually kind of worries me. I wonder if the deer had been raised by humans for a time in the past, and so was used to them. He (she?) acts more like a pet dog. Since you say you haven't seen him again, I hope he is able to survive in the wild without relying too much on people.

I sell those safety covers at my job. Now I can tell my customers the covers are strong enough to support a playing deer. Just make sure it doesn't put a hole in the cover, your manufacturer will void the warranty lol

thats a story. good thing for cameras. good video

beautiful, deers are peaceful animals remember that moment with that deer.
@Creheda: yes, i hope he survived also. i was thinking about him again while raking leaves this year!
@mrSarcastice1984: yes, it's a strong cover!

Two things: You shouldn't let your deer "on" the pool for 15 minutes after eating....and....I hope you sent this video to the person who sold you the pool cover! (without it being THAT strong, this would have been a very, VERY different kind of video...kudos to the manufacturer)
