DiMeo Farms blueberry plant shipment unboxing - Updated

This is Vernon opening the box of 16 - 3 year old 3 foot blueberry plants that he ordered from DiMeo Farms. He paid around $255 for the entire order, but at $10 a plant, that means that nearly $95 of his cost was shipping which seems excessive considering the size of the box not to mention that the actual shipping cost was $21.25. We were pleased with the branching of the plants and that the plants had a good coverage of leaves on them. They were definitely not 3 foot plants as advertised, nor was there any clear evidence that these plants were once taller plants that had been pruned for shipping. We don't know about the root system of a 3 year old plant, but in our opinion these did not look like the root system of a 3 year old plant.
