On this day, the Permanente Local switched an industry in Santa Clara instead of going up to the Lehigh Cement Plant in Cupertino, with a lone ex-Missouri Pacific GP38-2.

  • Why is the speed limit so low on the warm springs sub?

  • @Tremolux59: My guess is that track conditions are poor. Old ties, loose ballast, twisty rails, etc. Same problem on the Oakland Sub from Niles Jct. to Melrose. Used to be 40 mph main, but due to lack of maintenance, it' become a 10 mph line.

  • What are you standing on to shoot the last sequence?

    Nice series.

  • There's a pedestrian walkway over the road to reach the Light Rail station.

  • Yahy ! the first trains running back is incredibly noisy ! Lucky shot at 4:30 ! Luck is always a good ingredient for makes some good videos :)

  • Yup, I like luck!
