1. its never too late, saw some 60 year old windsurfers lately :P

2. i think it should be possible, but especially if you have many expierenced windsurfers around, try to get someone to teach you, cuz u cant learn windsurf from one day to the other, it needs a lot of practising,

3. i dont know your weight, but your first board have 150~200 litres, but also for that, the best would be to get in a windsurfing shop and get a professional to support you
