When we find these jewel locations dwelling there with the love of your life is the definition of rapture. The music (Gold & Silver Waltz - Lehar) I love - the start and crescendo of the rolling lilt of the waltz and Jody at the edge of the lake envelopes and profoundly moves me. This music becomes her theme; her joy, her beauty and spirit. It says it all. It captures our rapture of that wonderful day. A day impossible to repeat. Oh! If it was possible. Where else in the world could you find a jewel like this - and we shared this together! Just imagine!
A long mountain train tunnel only the Swiss can build takes you to Kandersted. Notice there are almost NO other people, only a hand full at most! We had the place all by ourselves, as if this magic moment was being carefully monitored by a very powerful force making it ultra special for the two of us.

  • Thank you so much for your comments. A lot is explained in my profile, but I can add more. It Now 2 years since I lost her, and she was at least half my world. The emblem left showing two face portraits with a torch being grasped by our 4 hands with the vibrant flame depicts our love. Our life was truly miraculous. Our devotion and love so intense we had to keep it secret from everybody. Fearful of insidious envy of us both; at her other women who developed instant hatred of her because beauty.

  • Amazing, makes me want to take up painting :D

I'm going there this Summer, can't wait. working in the KISC for 3 months :)

  • @riddler442 I am now wondering if you ever got to Kandersteg Switzerland. I do hope it remains as beautiful as I have portrayed it - knowing deep in my soul that what I saw I can never repeat. It was 1999 then, and now 2011 and more than half of my world then is now gone.

  • By the way, some people refer to the video style as "moving point of view" and it is really a value.

  • I'm sorry to understand what you speak of. Truly sweet reverie. Unbelievable; I understand, she is indeed beautiful, on so many plains, your commentary and photo talent, and her modeling grace explain much. What spectacular memories. So nice you shared them.

  • I enjoy your videos, been to many of the non European destinations, in similar manner. Prior to '96. Curious, if you can indicate what you mean by more than half your world, then, is now gone. As that is similar, in many ways, for me, and I've experienced some things in common, I believe. Time does things, good and less than good. If you wish, reply in private.

  • @776rnm I did, and had the best Summer of my life! It is nearly identical to the Kandersteg you portrayed in this video, if not completely identical, and even more beatiful! I love the place , a village without a police force, simply because it doesn't need one!:D
