ugh, i'm a vegetarian too,

and i hate telling people i am because i always think people are going to think that if i'm a vegetarian that i'm going to like, start a riot over the animal they're cooking.

I know vegetarians who preach and preach about it, and ones who wont let the meat touch their food, but i just honestly don't care if you rubbed your beefy cow meat all over my potatoes, i just don't want to physically digest your beefy cow meat.

@xsultrysongstress79x so your saying that cuttign a cows throught is more humane even though it takes lets just say about 20 seconds for them to bleed out, while shooting a pin into their brain takes about .5 seconds for them to die. hmmmm what sounds more humane? btw cows have hells alot more blood then humans and if a human gets their carotic artery cut (main artery to brain that is in neck) it takes them about 20 seconds to die so cows should be about the same.

@immattmc This is from 7 months ago, but i just feel like saying something. Please read Michael Pollan's Omnivore's dilemma. You live on a FARM. Not even a farm that does anything remotely "nice"...hanging a cow and shooting is is cruel. Slitting a cow's neck is the HUMANE thing to do because it severs an artery and they die in seconds. You don't live in a SLAUGHTERHOUSE. Do some research..or just live in your ignorance.

Seriously dude? I live in Midwestern America. I am not a vegetarian, but you clearly have NEVER been to a feedlot. When you see that stuff for yourself, it changes how you think. Don't just assume that you know everyone's reasoning for everything. People are vegetarians for many reasons..the government's involvment in food, morality, health reasons. I am just not a vegetarian because i am sick at the moment, but i used to be one, and you can't mock something you don't understand.

You're acting like all vegetarians are spoiled 16-year-old girls (I'm of course referring to the stereo type, not the age, or gender). And yes, It's true that it's horrible when it comes to how farmers/other, murder animals that have been kept in cages their whole life, but I am NOT any where Near that fussy when it comes to eating food, and as a matter of fact, vegetarian food is actually not what you'd think; we don't just eat vegetables.
