Part 1 on the road to Seoul. Heading south to Seoul. Plan on a couple of hours driving to downtown Seoul in heavy traffic. Summary of route to Seoul; Take Hwy 3 south to Dongbu Expressway, Hwy 61. Go southbound to Hwy 70 interchange taking the right hand fork. Continue Hwy 70 until Hwy 21 exit. Take Hwy 21 exit heading north to downtown. You can take the train at Seoul Station to Bosan Station which is a few hundred meters from Cp Casey main gate.

  • interesting stuff to see. I was stationed @ Cp. Casey 97-98. The new train station was quite a sight. I used the train to get to Seoul many times. Ever had squid jerky? They sold it on the train and it stunk up the car.

  • Glad to help with the memories. Yes, just once in Japan. Pretty chewey stuff.

  • are you still in korea?

  • Thanks for asking. No, I left in Mar 2008

  • That's too bad. You probably have some company as we all had our favorite places to hate. Cp Casey might be going away or getting smaller with the relocation to Cp Humphreys south of Osan AB of many units/families all over Korea. Cp Humphreys is expanding and is going to be the biggest post in Korea in about 4 years.
