Live @ The Witch of Endor: 27/03/11

A lot was stacked up against me this night. I was running late, my throat was giving me shit, and when i finally showed up - I was met with the demand to keep things fast (or, atleast, hard)... this meant that I had to change up my entire set list.

The original plan was going to be standard fare.

THE PICKUP ARTIST

Though "Lungs" was the only one to get dropped - the fundamental nature of the set list changed (hence the long pause after #1 CRUSH in the video). Where as before, it was going to be a set that picked up steam as it went on, leading to the bellowing at the end of PICKUP ARTIST, now I had to smack the audience in the face and wake them the fuck up or die. As you can see, this complicated EVERYTHING.

I wanted to throw THE PICKUP ARTIST and SENT TO THE MOON in the mix specifically for my YouTube viewers, because the former has only been played as a background track to some early videos (long time subs will recognize it also from the Any Idiot channel) and the latter is a song written by my cousin Jimmy Wright Jr which i got permission to cover on my upcoming album - and it's a great song!

We also had a false start, which I did not include here for time reasons. The mic was set too low for me and I was singing softly, which never makes a good combo.

To make matters worse, while I was up there, a patron decided to sit right infront of my camera for the tail end of a song and the first half of the next, until he was finally asked to move by someone who shared the table with me.

@Rawk4Life If you look under his Uploads tab, on his channel, he uploaded a few in late October of 2011. His last upload was on October 29, 2011.

Isn't it interesting how William didn't upload any videos during the last 8 months of his life? I wonder if he had been using that time to seek counseling for his bouts of depression. It's sad when one commits suicide because he feels like hardly anyone loves or cares about him. All we can do is hope and pray that his family is closer because of it and that this will send a message to others in his situation that life doesn't have to end on a down note. Find your calling and pursue it.

@williamcardno - Maaaayyyyybeeeee ... If I keep procrastinating on the housekeeping like I did yesterday, then probably not. <.< ... I haven't been feeling fantastic today either, being a girl sucks.

But we'll see, it IS always good to hang out with you. ;)
