http://psd2cssonline.com - Here's a new feature that is very closely related to an existing feature at psd2css Online. Suppose you want a pattern of some kind or even a solid color to span across the top of your web page. All the way across, no matter how wide your user makes his/her browser. Right now in psd2css Online we have the _bodybg Layer Naming Convention - that will generate code that will repeat a pattern horizontally across your page, but also vertically - it will fill the background of your page. Now we have the new _bodybg-rx feature which will only make your image repeat across the page horizontally - in the 'x' direction. Check out the video to see how it's used.

  • It looks like this makes the regular _bodybg not affective, so what if i wanted a black background, and an expanding header?

  • Excellent question! I can't believe I didn't mention it in the video. Going to have to make another :) You can add a _#color Layer Naming Convention to the same layer and that will be the solid background color then. So if we named the layer in the video _bodybg-rx_#00F then the rest of the background would be blue.

  • I've looked but got nowhere,

    I got a picture from google and designing my own page. I set it as body background="kh.jpg"

    using notepad

    I dont wont it to copy horrezontal and vertical. just one big picture.

  • If you don't want it to repeat either way, just make it a regular layer in Photoshop. Don't name it with any special Layer Naming Convention (well, you might want to use _jpg if there is no transparency in the image/layer).

  • hi! after seeng your video, a question comes to my mind: if the background has to be a solid color, why put an image and not set the background throw css ?

  • great video

  • do u have to pay for this?

  • GR8 video

  • what if i want this at the bottom of my page? what do you reccommend? sort of like a footer, but i don't want it to appear all the time , just when the user scrolls down to it.
