hi! after seeng your video, a question comes to my mind: if the background has to be a solid color, why put an image and not set the background throw css ?

what if i want this at the bottom of my page? what do you reccommend? sort of like a footer, but i don't want it to appear all the time , just when the user scrolls down to it.

It looks like this makes the regular _bodybg not affective, so what if i wanted a black background, and an expanding header?

Excellent question! I can't believe I didn't mention it in the video. Going to have to make another :) You can add a _#color Layer Naming Convention to the same layer and that will be the solid background color then. So if we named the layer in the video _bodybg-rx_#00F then the rest of the background would be blue.

I've looked but got nowhere,
I got a picture from google and designing my own page. I set it as body background="kh.jpg"
using notepad
I dont wont it to copy horrezontal and vertical. just one big picture.

If you don't want it to repeat either way, just make it a regular layer in Photoshop. Don't name it with any special Layer Naming Convention (well, you might want to use _jpg if there is no transparency in the image/layer).
