  • This guy is too much...geez..."these guitars are worth a lot of money"...so....watch me scratch this one up with my metal studded wrist bands :-)

  • @soulson888 In fairness Mike Casswells bands are bangles, we all know how precious these guitars are and the bangles have no effect on the guitar. Be sure to check out Michael Casswell monthly column out in each issue of the magazine! Hope your enjoying the issues! All the best! The iGuitar Team.

Your obviously lacking tone ear bro. Les Paul > prs. There's a reason so many people used and still use in many different genre of music. Prs is used for like 1 maybe two genres whereas still a beautifuly crafted, and great sounding guitar, the Prs does not compare to a les Paul. Sorry.

  • It is a piece of junk, contrary to what they would have you believe. My $20 1963 Silvertone Acoustic from Sears is extremely rare also. It's not worth anything. Some will fall for anything. I'll have a brand new PRS Al Di Meola Prism. Why did Al switch from the Les Paul to PRS ?

  • @cubsfands29 you could add Joe Walsh between Green and Page, since it was from him that Jimmy got his. :D

  • Actually it was bloomfield then clapton then green then page.

  • now thats what i call a proper rock guitar awesome and this guys a good player i learnt how to play eric claptons songs from this guys total guitar dvd

  • This 59 should be named Mona Lisa! A rare piece of art if ever there was one...

  • Please upload the video where he demos the amp. It is so good!

  • @socrates1818 The 1980 Heritage guitars were really just a Standard with a flame top, which Gibson didn't offer at that time. It had a short neck tenon, standard electronics, and the demensions were not correct.

The new '59 Reissues have the long neck tenon, Bumble Bee reissue caps and 500k CTS pots. The inlays and dimensions are much closer also. The newer '59 Reissues are the closest Gibson has come to the originals.
