-Rifle = 34 joules
-Pistol = 6 joules

-both use camera flash charger circuts, the "rifle" uses 2.

-Tools used: Drill, hacksaw, hotglue gun, hammer, dremel.

I dont think that using the taser on people is safe. It may have a smaller voltage but high current strength may easily kill someone.

I have a video of a coilgun similar to this, and i was wondering, if you have a capacitor bank, like mine does, then doesnt the voltage add up, like 330v X # of capacitors???

that is all fine and good, but your charger is bigger then a fat guy at a pie eating contest. here, go to instructables, and and this right after the com:

hook the output up to the to the cap bank, rule of thumb, 1 charger to 5 caps

these ones charge your cap bank faster. in your case you might want to look at the instructable to the side, same thing, but 2.5 or something, it has an indicator light

34,848 joule??? my gas gun (1 joule) use BB 6mm and it s more power then yours xD
