@defcreator Right I feel you personal preference is really what it boils down to. But I still think that the techs are done now. second hand, people want $700+ now even with problems. To me thats overkill unless your a seasoned DJ you wouldnt even notice the difference. str8-150's are nice tables but they are also $160 more than the ttx's. DJ Tech is coming up the ranks more and more people are buying their tables. Also I guess that technics decided to let the patent slide so its up 4 grabs now

@defcreator Technics have cut off production, so if you dont have a pair be prepaired to shell out at least 1k for a new deck. Also they are goin to sell their patents for tables who do you think might get those? I have a pair of technics GFM 12's and a pair of ttx's. I use the ttx's more and have had them since they came out no motor failure. Just about to order these and pass down the originals to my nephew. The industry standard is gone IMHO these will replaces techs with the new generation.

What's the USB useful for? Could I just slap on a timecoded vinyl and use the turntable in Torq, Traktor, VDJ etc.?
