It's not easy to video record and carry all my backcountry ski gear onto the Gondola at the same time! Why backcountry gear? Because at least once per year we ski the Peaks trail from Breckenridge to Frisco, a nice 8 miles (13 kilometre) backcountry experience that can't be beat!

Here's my personal web page about skiing:

The backcountry is the forest and wilderness area away from the ski restor itself. We use the lift to get up high and then ski back down through the trees away from all of the people, cars, and development. Backcountry skiing beats downhill/alpine skiing by a longshot since it's a good way to get close to Nature, etc.

  • what do you need in the backcountry
