If the ground is a little wet, will that affect making the rows when using row builders ?

@mdcrab68 ... A little moisture is OK but stay out of the garden when it's wet......Donald

Donald could you please tell me why you make raised rows to plant in? I'm sorry that might be a dumb question. Your drawn or raised rows look beautiful but I am sure that isn't the reason you do it. Do you get a lot of rain is it for better drainage? Thanks for humoring me with the answer to my dumb question.

@prairiepatch ... Not a dumb question at all. We do get lots of rain and it keeps the plants out of standing water. A raised row also holds moisture underneath which really helps during those dry periods in the summer. It also gives you twice as much loose soil which is good for root development. All positive reasons to plant on a row.......Donald

@webcajun .......Thank you so much Donald. That makes so much sense. I think I'm going to have to give it a try this year. Just going to have to find that 'row hipper' implement for the tractor. Thanks again......Holly
