Vietnamese Style Sour Soup with Shrimp Recipe

Somlaw Machue Youn is what this is called in Khmer.

Here is a Cambodian take on a Vietnamese popular soup "Canh Chua Tom". Light and refreshing but yet full of flavors. A great way to eat your vegetables.

You can also use fish, chicken, or pork ribs. Meats take a longer time to cook so you would want to brown them and cook it from the beginning before adding vegetables.

@KatiushaVN4 I'm Cambodian and my boyfriend is Vietnamese. If I was to make this for him, I'm sure he will enjoy this and along with any Cambodian dishes I'll make for him. Don't bother to come around if your going to hate. We all eat the same things in this generation.
