  • How long did it take you for the music to just flow through you like that? I'm trying to get better at improv, and I don't even know where to start ha ha

  • @cobcrazygood88 Hey man! There's basically just ONE key element to flow in improvisation, TIMING!

To acquire that you need to practice conceptual understanding of timing and note value alteration. And as for where to start? Just so happen I did a free15min lesson (with 18 page English booklet) on this subject a few years back for ShredAcademy. If you search in YouTube for "richard lundmark shredacademy" you will find it! Once you've mastered that, head on to infiniteguitar[dot]com for tons more

  • Was using Bill Lawrence originals in this clip, L500XL in bridge and L500R in neck.

That is the original pickusp manufactured by BillLawrence [dot] com

  • nice playing, cool guitar. what is the nut width? I've read that the FW necks were kind of wide...

  • Hey, thanks for watching. Flaxwood guitars uses 1 3/4" nut width, which is sligthly wider than your average 1 11/16" Strat neck. For though, I like the fact that the string spacong is slightly wider, makes chording much easier for one thing :) And for me, with regular to larger hands, it's a clear plus.

  • Haha, du är en grym snubbe ju! Skulle vara kul att jamma lite nån gång... Great playing there!! / Forsman

  • Tack och bock :) Skulle definitivt vara lajbans, fast du bor väl i söööder? Finns ju alltid alternativ dock, tex "camfrog" chatklient med video/audio osv och gitarrum.

  • what pickups are you using?

  • He meant that its in the key of g, not g-funk. but ur right, he is really good...

  • man you are really good cuz one day i need to learn this cause i produce music and have got distracted wit all this producing instrumentals for my indipendent rap label that i havent had time to get to my guitar now dont get me wrong you are trully great and i wish i could play that but it seems more to me like Funk and not really G-Funk which what i was looking for for inspiration but regardless that was great for an improv

  • you are unbelievable..i wish i could play like you!!

  • seriously great. i can't believe how fast you can move your hand up and down the fret board. so its a flaxwood eh? i thought the neck looked slightly wider than a normal guitar like a Les Paul.

  • sick playing man!! very tasteful

  • nice stuff
