@rudybeatskcazm7 Yep, but not a M4 though. I'd consider you fortunate, as I live in an area where you need a permit for pretty much any firearm, and it's illegal to have a toy that resembles a real gun. Props if you can guess where I am. Answer is on my channel, but c'mon, give it a guess or two. Next year, I'll probably need a permit for a Super Soaker.
@rudybeatskcazm7 On an AR, uppers aren't as regulated. For all I know, uppers are considered as mere accessories and can be bought without much government bs. The lower is the firing portion, so it would be the part that would be registered, if it was select-fire. You're posting contradicting information, so I'm just going to take the latest comment as truth. You are a 15-year old owner of a Bushmaster AR with a mil-spec upper.
@rudybeatskcazm7 Actually, there is. Sure it functions the same from the outside, but the internals are different. For example, select-fire M16 bolt carriers are different from AR-15 ones. The lower is different as well, so that even if you do get a select fire trigger pack (the expensive part, the key to unlocking full-auto goodness), it wouldn't fit readily in a civilian AR. This is all done so that converting a semi-only to full auto is difficult.
@rudybeatskcazm7 Well, it's not equal to the military M4. It's just Bushmaster's way of selling their AR-15 lowers. Ever since the term "M4" has lost copyright, firearm manufacturers took the chance. Even if your Bushmaster says, "M4", it would be proper to refer it to as "AR-15". $13K? You find that hard to believe? It's true, unfortunately. Try googling "select fire ar-15 lower" and see for yourself. I can also tell you why, if you ask.

@rudybeatskcazm7 So you got a select-fire, post-86 M4 lower for $200? I call bullshit, unless you're not a typical civilian gun owner.
