  • Definitely a religious experience for me and yes, I came from Oakland for the second time in several years to see him at the Narrows. I first saw Ronnie when he was with Roomful of Blues on a double with the Fabulous Thunderbirds, including Etta James, Tracy Nelson and Carlos Santana in SF. Also saw him at Yoshi's in Oakland.

  • For those puzzled by the video ("where's Ronnie!?") he was sitting off stage playing much of the night: those of us in the audience could see him, but it doesn't show so well on camera! This show was a religious experience: I was glad to drive 7 hours to make it, and if I'm not mistaken, our videographer flew from Oakland to Boston just for this show!
