  • Wow! From a hard freeze to 70 degrees! Everybody there has to be very adaptable to a variety of climatic conditions.

    Were you taking still photos while recording the video or was the sound of clicking and whirring coming from an animal or something else in the exhibit?

  • @ZooVisitorMM The sound was the zoom on my new digital camera. My old camera couldn't zoom while making a video so I traded a little noise for a better lens.

  • Dont you just love how all the animals at the NOLA zoo dont pay you ANY attention. LMAO!

  • The Philadelphia Zoo also exhibits spider monkeys. People always ask why they are called spider monkeys. Apparently it is because they look like spiders when they hang by their tails.

    I have noticed the reverse is not true, though. I have never seen a spider that looks like a monkey no matter what position it is in!
