Hilary Duff An Author? New Novel Called Elixir

Welcome back to Clevver TV. Im Dana Ward. So yes, one of the true old school Young Hollywood stars is adding author to her industry resume. Hilary Duff just reportedly signed on with publisher Simon and Schuster to take on the world of young adult books. Apparently, her first novel in the series will be all about a jet-setting photojournalist Clea Raymond. According to reports, the 400-plus-page book is titled Elixir and will hit stores on October 12th.

So whos gonna run out and buy Duffs first book? And I want to know from you all if you think Hilary is the true and blue writer or if theres a bit of ghostwriter action on Elixir. I love Hilary, and have been a big fan since... forever, but I've lost quite a bit of respect for her on this. Regardless of how much of the book she wrote, there was a co writer who's name didn't appear anywhere on the cover. If she wanted to be taken seriously as an author, she should have either not used a co writer, or fully recognized her for her contributions. I feel like she skipped the hard part of writing because she's famous, and that doesn't bode well with me as an aspiring writer.
