@Izayoiaki24 Since it's Super Smash Bros., it will always be one of the most successful in every era. I do loved SSBM, but compared with SSB and SSBB it wasn't well made. It's true that Luigi was a copy of Mario at the N64 version, but he was the only one (and you couldn't expect too much on the 1st attempt). However, SSBM, as I said, has Pichu-Pikachu, C.Falcon-Ganondorf, Mario-Dr.Mario, and Marth-Roy, Fox-falco, Link-Y.Link, who are exactly the same thing in other character.

@AlxGoes I thought it was one of the most successful and beloved games of its era and spawned an entire mini-genre and a tournament scene that continues to this day. But I guess it sucked, because it had characters with similar movesets. I was also under the impression that Luigi was a total clone in SSB and substantially evolved in SSBM, but I suppose that was also a mistake.

@Billitrance Huh? The real guy behind Smash Bros (N64 version) was fired (or he left on his own, I don't remember) and then they made SSBM for GameCube. Now he's back, and they made SSBB. SSBM was a total failure (just like GameCube itself). Lots of stupid bugs and characters doing the same things (Pichu-Pikachu, Cap.Falcon-Ganondorf, Mario-Luigi-Dr.Mario[lol?]).
Wii crashed. Lost data. NUUUUU----!!
