nice to see people still like the MG l have the mgf limited edition 1999 birthday series Black with red soft top still in A1 condition red and black interia always get told what a beautiful car lots of people asking questions on traffic light stops, never given me any trouble, as for parts they are expensive but what isnt these days

The MGF is the best all round car. The BMW Z3 is the best looking but costs too much and the interior is horrible. The Mazda isn't as good looking, the interior has too much cheap plastic and the motor is too slow. The MGF is the best handler, best interior and set up with the mid engine but has probably the least engine reliability (with head gasket problems). If you want class - the BMW is the go, if you want common with fun then its Mazda but if you want style with grace - then go MGF.

Did you say "the best car ever made'' ? Seriously, are you for real? The MGF was probably the best advert for going out and buying a MX5. Other than the early nighties MGV8...MG cars (incuding the MGF, the MGBGTV , Midget, MG Metro, Montego, Maestro and 75 ) are generally regarded as a joke amongst car enthusiasts. Hint...You'll never see an Italian drive an MGF (unless he was a blind Italian of course). I admire youre loyalty ..but do yourself a favour and go buy a Mazda...Va-Va Vooooom!

saw one on ebay went for about £800 :( i wanted it so badly for my first car but i have no money at the moment and the insurance will be about £5k lmao

MGF is a car a good example of a MGF that is that will start to see prices rise over the next few years.

@mikeymagic117 very typical of a manufacturer that keeps getting sold to different parties. Part prices would be going through the roof. Been searching around and can now pick one up for around $6,000 AUD
