dont use flares until u hear the higher pitched very fast beeping noise , that means a missile has been fired

If you wait for the incoming missile warning to use the flares the missile will still usually hit you in the scout choppers depending on how far away they were when it was fired. So I pretty much mash it a few seconds after they get tone.

So in jets you like Extinguisher, but in choppers you prefer flares? Any reason behind that?

You can't dodge missiles in the choppers, and they're easy to land if you get hit.
