Love how they retooled the AITF theme and jazzed it up a lil !

@storrs19 The Jeffersons air on TV land. I watch that show everyday. It's my favorite.

Yeah I agree. But even so things just weren't the same. It was a different atmosphere and a different feeling. I thought I was sad actually that he just lived without Edith or even Gloria or the Meathead.

Archie Bunker's Place was actually just as good as All In The Family, albeit in a different way. It really showed the metamorphosis of Archie Bunker, but moreover, how he is able to face life alone without Edith, Gloria and Mike. His supporting cast was excellent, and that helped add to the quality of the show.

It's a bitch turning 60 remembering how much I loved this series in the 70s! Recently revisited and saw the passing of Edith and the end....Those were the days!!

I recall seeing epi's of Archie Bunker's Place on FOX 5 New York in the late 80s...

I think they show the Queensboro because AITF is set in Queens...

Archie Bunker & George Jefferson were both Mets fans in the classic "All In the Family" shows. Probably explaining the scene of the Queensboro Bridge in the end credits.
Just hearing this ending brings back so many good memories and completely floods me with emotions. Damn I miss T.V. like this!
