Interesting! Any one hexagram can mutate into any other in the book though, so it is more of a web than a line. And time's not gonna stop in 2012. The idea of energy at the end of time moving backward to drive our reality forward makes a lot of sense to me though. Consider Feynman's realisation that antimatter can be seen as normal matter moving backward in time- so a cloud of anti-neutrinos beginning at the end of the universe would be responsible for driving our reality forward.. mindboggling.
