Looks so much better without ads splattered all over the boards.

@sixsixxsixxxx how old are you .....six?
-
@ldhorricks Ya, they were and are at times in right in there...just on the cusp of somthing special and then they would lose.
-
@103Uke Im a habs fan...but always a big fan of the sabres back then...they had great teams...lots of heartbreaking losses.

@wurlitzer78 Its the same everywhere these days except for maybe MSG...the last of the great arenas...todays NHL is hype driven shadow of its former self...stupid corporate arenas...loved those afternoon playoff games from Buffalo...this was a great series...although i was a habs fan, i really liked this Sabres team and was bummed they lost in the final...watched Gare play his junior with the Centennials

At 5:46 they show the end of the period and a guy skating away with Buffalo's goaltender. That guy, he looks like Tim "Dr. Hook" McCrackin of The Syracuse Bulldogs from the movie "Slapshot". Is that the guy who played him or do they just look alike??

I remember Sports Illustrated called this series "The changing of the guard" - lol. Canadiens go on to win four straight cups with the most dominant team ever
-
@dunett70 Ramsey is american ;)
-
I'd rather see Game 1 of this series when Rookie Danny Gare scored the Overtime Goal to beat these Canadiens!

@wurlitzer78 i am 43 and i watched this in 1975 . it was then as it stillis very easy on the eyes! that advertising makes it bad to watch .
Well, what WAS the organist playing? The NHL should ban the use of loud pop music in all arenas and make it a requirement that every arena have nothing but organ music. Brittany Spears et al have ruined the atmosphere of hockey.
