@PorMansGold I have to agree with @MorphCity. Many farmers have opted out and are finally making a profit. I too farm and have NO problems with GE as I grow vegetables and I stay far away from farm subsidies. I believe it is up to farmers to stand up and say NO. Stop putting your wishbone where your backbone ought to be. @MorphCity is correct: you don't have a problem other than a limited thinking of your situation. And by the way, we are doing many things about GMO.

@NoirAngelique Not to rain on your parade but your "barbed wire pointing in" theory I was thinking about the other day and noticed close to where I work there are two places with the barbed wire pointing in. One was a place where they store antique cars and the other was a place where they store gas and oil near a refinery. All I am saying is the "barbed wire pointing in" may not mean necessarily anything. It may just be the contractors choice of how the fence was put up. The rest I agree.
Dear Farmers you can`t blame the public for what Monsanto is doing because I as a consumer didn`t even know about the crap they were pulling until I watched a documentary called King Corn that you can watch on you tube for free,I had to pay netflixs to see it and since then I have been telling my friends and people on you tube to watch it . Why don`t you farmers put up billboards on your propertyto inform the public to watch King Corn and food inc. and to write their politicians
