Guiding Light early fall 1984, Part 7

Beth is still refusing to leave because she hasn't heard from her mom. Philip pretends to call Cedars looking for Lillian. He tells Beth Lillian is in a meeting and hasn't picked up messages yet. India and Lujack arrive at the eye dr.'s office looking for Beth. She tells them Beth's appointment is at 1 and they decide to wait. However, the receptionist gives them her room key and tells them she left it. Josh shows up in the doctor's office and confirms that Reva is pregnant. He assumes that it is his baby and tells her that he wants to have it with her. He asks her not to have the abortion. India and Lujack realize that Philip is on the run and decide to go to the hotel. Philip is impatient with Beth taking so long to pack. She insists that she wants to pack on her own. A police officer confirms Tony's story to Victoria. Victoria asks him to leave. He asks her specifically about the doll but she claims to know nothing about it. Carrie Piper and a henchman find Jim and Annabelle.

It was Susan Piper, not Carrie Piper -- Carrie was the first name of the character the actress played back in 2003/2004.

India is my all time favorite soap character. I liked Beth before India came along, but now watching these old episodes, I don't know how I ever liked Beth.
