Description: A Haldir video! Yay! I don't know why, but I was suddenly struck with really wanting to do a Haldir vid. lol. I have to say it, Haldir is by far my favorite Elf! Craig Parker was excellent in the role!

Anyway, kinda like my Davy Jones vid, this one can be confusing and needs some description.

Note: black-and-white shots indicate flashbacks and/or visions.

Mainly, this vid is to show Haldir's thoughts and actions as he is called to battle at Helms Deep. Initially, he's not very enthusiastic about that (1:06-1:23; "So time is stolen,"), not wanting to leave the Elves or Lothlorien.

Throughout the battle of Helms Deep, he has various flashbacks to Lothlorien and his kinfolk (1:45-1:50, "I know of a dream I should be holding," and 2:05-2:20).

During the fight, Galadriel appears to Haldir (the same way she did to Frodo in RotK) to encourage him through the battle. (2:20-2:37, "As you are rising, to bring me my forgoten ways,")

Finally, Haldir is fatally wounded. As he dies, he sees Galadriel beckoning him to the "other side".

Great Vid. Haldir is more mature and more experienced than Legolas.Haldirs characters is in the book quite different.Frodo and Haldir may be very.In the book the meeting at the borders Lothlorien is a completely different course.Too bad that Peter Jackson has changed so much over the book.If you see the book apart, and the independent film as another work from the book, is made​the film very well.
