Hey man

I finally wanna buy myself an Arcade Stick for all my fighters since the skin on my thumb is getting pretty rough >____> I see the TE everywhere, but I'm not so sure about getting one of them... My problems are, that I also wanna play PS2 games with my Stick (Can't you just use the PS2 USB Input?) and that I wanna play Fighting Games besides Street Fighter like Guilty Gear, BlazBlue Kof (Fatal Fury, MOTW)... Does it work well on these fighters too? Would be a great help If you'd reply :3

@FFjergo Unless you can dual mod/can get it dual modded my somebody I wouldnt recommend going for a TE stick. You can probably find a Hori PS2 stick and buy a PS3/USB converter along with it. Either that or if you can do some manual labor, mod a Mayflash stick with Sanwa parts and such and you'll have a stick good for PS2 and PC/PS3 games. The TE does work well with all those games though (trust me, personal experience) and it's the best stick I've ever had.

Amazon of my country offers the TE SFIV stick and the Hori BlazBlue. Stick.

I didn't really get what you meant with the modding part.

Isn't there a way to play on PS2 with those sticks?

@FFjergo Without rewiring some stuff with an offbrand common ground ps2 controller or something, you can't unfortunately. Kinda my problem now since my Mayflash still needs to be fixed and money's not an option right now

what's that stick with PS2 and PS3 ports and sanwa buttons? Is it custom-made?

I hope it's not because I suck at making and modding things but I have a HRAP3 and when I play PS2 games on my PS3 I get a small input lag, I have a 60 GB PS2 but you can't avoid it, and I can't use my HRAP3 on my PS2..

Actually no it's not custom made. Its a modded mayflash joystick. I got it pre-modded off ebay, but it has old parts that need to be replaced. It's a bitch to mod from what I've heard.

And that sucks hearing that. Without modding or buying another stick, I really can't think up any kind of solution.

As of a few weeks ago, my mayflash is officially useless. I have to buy a new stick and buttons for it sometime. I generally keep my shit clean, so the dust doesnt build up that much. I should put the button back in, but not the little rubbery thing so the function still doesnt work. I might wind up dual modding my TE sometime though, but im kinda scared lol
