@Welcome7oHell the forerunners where a species of intelligent beings that existed about 100,000 years ago they controlled pretty much all of the galaxy they created the halo array to kill all life in the galaxy in order to starve the flood and kill it theres alot more info on the forerunners go to halopedia to find out more about them and anything else in the halo universe, you may already know by now since it was 4 months when posted the comment but i thought i'd still fill you in on it.
