PANArt Hang and Drum experiment:
I've started several experiments, trying to combine the Hang with other music styles and instrumens.
This one is the first part of my serie. Part I deals with an usual drumkit.
Enjoy the sound!

Hang: Julian Muhmenthaler
Drum: Basil Oberli

  • Liked 12 seconds in & didn't regret it. Lovely sound.

  • This is really awesome man... It's all about fusing different styles/cultures together! Great musicianship on both your parts! Have you ever tried playing the Hang with the Tabla? That could be amazing! I am learning Tabla at the moment and would offer to jam if I were a little more developed. Perhaps in a few months when I'm further down the line? I can play expressively with them, but it's the disciplined technical side that I'm finding takes time; they're unforgiving with bad technique!

  • animal man! abrx Rogerio Furyolive

  • @ChronicPiam egg cartons. They are the cheap way to soundproof a room. The sound is absorbed by the cups of the cartons and then put back in the room.

  • @dynexplact @skinnytallnsmart I think it looks like Bob Marley

  • @ChronicPiam looks more like an attempt at sound dampening. They are foam boards that dampen the sound so u can get a better recording..

  • @ChronicPiam they appear to be egg crates

  • whats on your wall dude
